PEGA Installation

Pega Installation Steps

PEGA INSTALLATION STEPS ( >= PRPC 4.02 SP1)

1). Install JDK 1.4.1
2). Install Oracle 9i ( > 9.01 )
---> Install PEGARULES SCHEMA
3). Install Tomcat ( > 5.0 ) under
---> Use unique port
---> Goto Tomcat Manager ( Manager Servlet)
---> Copy classes12.jar/xerces.jar under Tomcat\common\lib
---> Deploy prweb.war under \Tomcat\webapps\prweb
---> Open \Tomcat\webapps\prweb\WEB-INF\classes\pegarules.xml
---> Enable JDBC driver, change UserId,Passaword which were used for installation of oracle

4). Start the Tomcat server5). Access server unsing the following URL:

CLIENT CHANGES1). Install Microsft VISIO
2). login with Admin rights
3). Open internet explorer
4). Goto Tools-->InternetOptions-->Security-->Custom level, enable all the radio buttons
